The St. John the Baptist RCC Youth/Young Adult Group completed four years of catholic activities in November 2007. During this time we have helped our young in many ways. Our weekly meetings are now every Sunday at 5:00pm. The Reading of the Bible is accompanied by music from our Band, a Play from a Drama Group, a Library that's open during the meeting, among other activities.

Besides all the work we have done with the young. We also remember the ones in need. Since January 2004 we have sent clothes and food to the poor in Brazil. Our help has arrived in the poorest areas and is always very anticipated by the people.

In 2006 we started a School Supply Campaign and raised enough funds to buy school supplies for 130 students in a very poor region of Brazil. In February 2007, each child received one backpack filled with supplies.

This year we wish to accomplish even more.

2008 School Supply Campaign: Our goal is to raise enough funds to buy 150 BackPacks filled with all school supplies needed for one year.
